Most flooring and tile failures start in the subfloor: hollow sounds, cracked grout, squeaks and separating seams. We inspect, level and waterproof it before laying hardwood, engineered, vinyl or tile, so the surface stays flat. This sits alongside the full range of home renovation projects we take on in Ottawa.

How long it takes, and what it costs

Flooring & Tiling questions
Even premium flooring fails over an uneven or flexible subfloor: vinyl separates, hardwood squeaks and grout cracks. Levelling first prevents that.
We don't recommend it. Removing old layers and using an uncoupling membrane gives a lasting bond and avoids height changes at doorways.
Yes. We can reinstall existing baseboards, add shoe moulding, or supply and fit new baseboards.
Floating vinyl and click engineered floors, immediately. For glued hardwood and tile we use rapid-setting adhesive and grout, so no more than a day.
